Track Out Fun!!!

First quarter of school came and went and we had a blast during our 3 week break. Between activities we hit 3 Bear Acres and the Zoo with some friends! The kids had a blast!! This was one of the first times I could actually take all the kids by myself and they all had fun and I could just enjoy them. I love the ages they are all at right now. Self sufficient but still so innocent and imaginative!!

Baseball, Softball, Baseball, Chorus, and SkipIts.... and more baseball

I am officially a taxi driver. Except I don't get paid, my customers leave my car filthy and they whine and ask for food a lot. We have had a busy fall---Jacob playing on his beloved Bulls as well as the West Raleigh Select Team,  and is a part of the school chorus. Andrew is a Tin Cap and loving it (going much better than soccer did :), Rachel is a skip it and tearing it up on the softball field as the catcher! And Matty, well, God bless him.....he just digs no matter where we go. So much fun to watch them all play, get better, and have fun with it all!

First Day of Preschool!

Well the day came and went without a hitch. Matty's first day of preschool. He is in the Butterfly class and absolutely LOVES it! He says he has "1000 friends". I wouldn't doubt it with that smile and cuteness. He likes to hide behind me when we walk to his classroom and loves that Mrs. Berguson, and Mrs. M say "Where's Matty?" everyday. He giggles and runs in! He knows all the letters in his name and is just full of love when I pick him up. He hugs me so tight and tells me all about his day. What a blessing!!! He loved this past track out when the other kids got to see his classroom. On the Mama side I will be honest-----it's been lovely to get stuff done without a kid in tow. 10 years folks! 10 years!!! So needless to say I am enjoying the 3.5 hours 3x per week where I get to wander aimlessly in target grocery shop. Then I get to love on him and hear about his day. Best of both worlds!!!

School Days

Can you believe three kids in school?!!!!! It was a bittersweet day as my sweet and imaginative Andrew marched off to kindergarten. I expected an tough adjustment. Andrew loves to just be home playing Legos. But he surprised us! There has not been one day where he has complained. He absolutely love school and has made sure his whole class is up to speed on the Titanic ;) Rachel and Jacob are having a fantastic year so far. Awesome teachers and are doing great. I feel so blessed to have kids that love school and don't struggle with grasping the material. Truly is a gift!!!

Kure Beach 2015

We had the best time this summer. Two glorious weeks at the beach!! Looking back through these pictures I can hardly wait until next year.  It also made me realize we didn't take nearly enough pics of our second week. Love these times with Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Papa, Grams, and Grammy. I love this tradition we have created. Someday we will have a house of our own at the beach!!!

First Communion

This boy radiates sweetness. God gave him such a gift---he is loved by everyone that meets him. His teachers, coaches, friends all see it. His nickname is "Smiley" and clearly it fits. We are so so very proud of him and blessed by him every single day. He makes us laugh and brings light into every room. Such a gift to us---our Jacob
